Public-sector suppliers must send e-invoices through the UJP portal. Slovenia's e-SLOG standard is one of the formats UJP accepts.

When e-invoices are required
The public sector requires e-invoices
If you invoice government bodies, municipalities, or public institutions (B2G), you already have to issue e-invoices. UJP accepts e-SLOG, UBL 2.1 and CEFACT; Apollo prepares e-SLOG and UBL.
Not mandatory for everyone
If you don't sell to the public sector, you don't need e-SLOG. You can still attach the file for business partners who ask for it.
How it works
From invoice to UJP package
Apollo prepares the file; you upload it to the UJP portal.
You issue an invoice
Issue the invoice in Apollo as usual and choose to export it as e-SLOG.
Apollo checks the file
Apollo checks the e-SLOG file against the official format before you export it.
You download the UJP package
Download the UJP package and upload it to the Public Payments Administration (UJP) portal yourself, or send the e-invoice directly through the Peppol network instead, including to UJP.

Payment references follow the e-SLOG format, so incoming payments are easier to match.
e-SLOG is Slovenia's national standard and differs from the international Peppol network. Apollo supports both: sending through the Peppol network (including to UJP), or a manual upload with an e-SLOG file and UJP package.

Is e-SLOG the same as Peppol?
No. e-SLOG 2.0 is Slovenia's national e-invoice standard, while Peppol is an international delivery network. For Slovenian businesses Apollo can send the e-invoice through Peppol (including to UJP), or prepare an e-SLOG file and UJP package for manual upload.
Do I need e-SLOG if I don't sell to the public sector?
Usually not. Today e-invoices are mainly required for public-sector suppliers (B2G), and UJP also accepts UBL 2.1 and CEFACT besides e-SLOG. Other business customers can get the e-SLOG file when they ask for it.
Can I export e-SLOG in bulk for my accountant?
Yes. Export many e-SLOG invoices at once in a single ZIP file.
Does Apollo send the e-invoice directly to UJP?
Not through the manual upload — you handle that step yourself in the UJP portal. If you'd rather not upload it manually, Apollo can also send the e-invoice directly over the Peppol network, including to UJP.
